Ordering:
Online & Closeout orders – Our online ordering system only accepts domestic orders. International customers please contact Customer Service for assistance.
Wholesale orders - Orders may be placed by phone, fax or email through our Customer Service Department. To provide you with the most efficient service we ask that all orders be confirmed in writing to avoid any errors in communication. Our fax number (401)723-3036 is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for order confirmation. Please clarify style, quantity, color and special instructions pertaining to shipping, plating or special services.
Minimum Order Requirements:
Online Items: No minimum order value but orders less than $20 are subject to $5 handling fee

Closeout Items: $100 minimum order value

Discounts – Orders for CLOSEOUT MERCHANDISE ONLY totaling at least $300 will receive an additional 20% discount.
Wholesale Items: $200 minimum order value

Currency Surcharge – Since all stones are purchased from Europe, Hord Crystal must pay a currency surcharge to our suppliers based on the value of the US$ vs. the Euro. Hord Crystal must pass this surcharge along to our customers. The surcharge does fluctuate from time to time throughout the year and may vary depending on the items purchased. Please check with Customer Service when placing an order to find out the current currency surcharge.

All prices are FOB Pawtucket. Prices & availability are subject to change without notice. Please confirm prices with a customer service representative when placing an order.
Credit:
Online & Closeout orders must be paid by credit card through our online ordering system at the time an order is placed. Wholesale customers may apply for an open account with three trade references and one bank reference. Credit limits will be determined by analysis of these references. Payment terms for open accounts are Net 30 Days. We also offer COD or credit card or payment in advance terms to our wholesale domestic customers. International wholesale orders will be shipped prepaid on credit card, wire transfer or check in advance basis. All international shipments are Freight Collect.

Cancellations, Returns and Shortages:
Customer Service must be notified of cancellations 3 working days from the confirmation of order. Once and order is shipped from our facility we will not accept a cancellation even if within the 3 day time limit. Hord Crystal reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee for any order which has already been produced or any specialty items.
Except for quality issues, Closeout purchases may not be returned.
All returns for Online or Wholesale items must be approved with a return authorization number provided by Customer Service. Be sure to include this number with your return. Hord must be advised of any return request within 5 days of receipt of product. Hord will only accept responsibility for primary manufacturing defects. Hord reserves the right to charge a 25% restocking fee for any other return. Hord will not accept returns on closeout, specialty or plated items. Hord will not accept returns on any items that have been altered by plating, gluing, soldering or any other method after leaving Hord Crystal’s manufacturing facility.
Hord must be advised of any shortages within 3 days of receipt of goods. Any shortage claimed after this time will not be accepted. All shipments are counted, measured and weighed prior to shipping. Any shortage must be returned complete and in the original packaging for verification. Upon receiving, goods will be weighed again for comparison with original shipping weight and determination of shortages. Customers should not accept opened or damaged packages. If you receive an opened or damaged package from the carrier the package should be refused so that it can be returned to Hord Crystal and a claim can be filed with the carrier. A replacement package will be re-shipped to you as quickly as possible.
Sample Orders:
Sample orders are available for our wholesale items. There is a charge for sample orders. The time required to fill a sample order will vary by product and size of order.
Plating:
Online Items:
Plating is provided as an extra service for an additional charge for on-line orders only. Plating is available in Gold and Silver finishes. Prices vary by item.
Wholesale & Closeout Items:
Plating is not available for our closeout or wholesale items. We will gladly ship our closeout and wholesale items to a plater of your choosing. As a courtesy Customer Service can provide a listing of platers in the Rhode Island area. Hord Crystal does not guarantee the workmanship of any one plater over another. Hord Crystal is not responsible for any merchandise that is lost or damaged by a plater. Plated merchandise is non-returnable.
Customer Satisfaction:
For your satisfaction, Hord Crystal will repair or replace, at no additional charge, any defective merchandise which Hord determines to have been defective at time of shipping. Customers must inform Hord of any defects upon receipt of goods. Hord will not be responsible for any defects determined to be caused by secondary operations, including but not limited to cutting, plating, soldering and gluing.
