Do you take phone orders?
Online and Closeout items – must be ordered through our web site only.

What types of payments do you accept?
We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express credit cards. Our website is a safe, convenient and secure environment for entering your credit card information. We comply with PCI DSS standards.
Will you confirm my order via email?
Yes, shortly after you place your order online, you will receive an email confirmation. This email will include an Order Confirmation number. We recommend that you print and save it for your reference. For your security, we will only send an order confirmation to the email address you provide. Please be sure to enter your email address correctly to ensure that you receive your order confirmation.
Do you have a minimum order amount?
Online items – No minimum order value however orders less than $20 are subject to $5 handling fee. Chains have a 3 foot minimum order quantity and are sold in 3 foot increments; Findings are sold by the package (see item description for package quantities).
Closeout items - Orders are subject to a $100 minimum. Line items are subject to 1 gross minimum for findings (or the quantity in stock if less than 1 gross) and 25 feet for chain (or the quantity in stock if less than 25 feet)
Catalog items – Orders are subject to a $200 minimum. There are also minimum manufacturing requirements for each item. Manufacturing minimums vary depending on the item. Please contact a customer service representative at 1-800-444-2989 for further information.
Do you charge sales tax?
If you live in Rhode Island, you must submit a sales tax exemption certificate to avoid a sales tax. Customers from all other states are exempt.
Can I make changes to my order after it have been submitted?
If your order has not yet been shipped, you may email Customer Service at customerservice@hordcrystal.com to make changes to your order.

How many pieces in a gross?
There are 144 pieces per gross.
Are color samples exact?
Colors are for informational purposes only and may differ from the actual merchandise. Colors on your screen are affected by monitor settings and different web browsers. Slight changes in shades are unavoidable.
What medium is used for silver plating?
Hord uses only Imitation Rhodium for silver plating to prevent tarnishing and provide a longer shelf-life for our products.
Product Information
If you are ordering brass items, without plating, keep in mind that brass can vary in color. It may be a bright and shiny gold color, bright and shiny copper color or have a dark patina over a gold or copper color. Also, all items are machine made and some may show marks from the machines (marring or scratching). There is no way to control the way brass looks as we do not manufacture the brass itself, we manufacture the settings only. If you want more consistency in colors you should order plated items for online items only or send your closeout or catalog items to a plater of your choice.
There can also be some variation in the stone colors especially in the red shades. When filling orders we try to make sure that all of the stones are the same shade.
Lead Warning
We understand the importance of protecting the health and environment of our customers. However, some products such as crystals, base metal finding and chains may contain small amounts of lead. We recommend that you wash your hands after handling, and keep all items away from small children and infants.

What credit cards do you accept?
We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express. You will have to supply the correct billing address for the card along with the security code.
What does AB mean?
AB stands for Aurora Borealis. Aurora Borealis rhinestones have a special iridescent coating that reflects many colors. The special coating is a result of a very thin metallic layer on the surface of the stone.
Can items with AB or special effect finishes be plated?
Because the AB and special effect coatings contain some metallic elements they can be very tricky to plate. Other than the plated items that we sell in our small quantity “Buy Online” section, Hord Crystal will not take responsibility for any damage done to the stones when they are plated after leaving our factory. You should contact your plater to confirm they can plate AB and special effect rhinestones.
Who do you sell to?
Hord Crystal sells to manufacturers of many different types of products. Some of the types of items our customer make include jewelry, clothing, shoes, accessories, egg crafts and home furnishings. Our “Buy online” items are geared to smaller or beginner users. Our full catalog is more for larger manufacturers and requires larger minimums and lead-times.
Do you have a printed catalog?
We do have a printed catalog of our full chain and finding collection. The catalog is in full color and shows all of our items in actual size. There is a $30 charge for the catalog that is credited towards your account with your first order of $200 or more. Please contact a customer service representative if you would like to receive the catalog.
